--_uReach_com_26916734994503209831169xxx_ Content-Type: Text/Plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit I'm trying to connect to a LAN, which I've never done before and have come across some problems. I'm not quite sure how to set it up and have spent almost all day yesterday trying to get it to work. Here's the situation: (not the real ips...) Gateway: 208.165.194.1 My IP: 208.165.194.5 I'm using ep0, that is working allright. I tried putting some stuff in my /etc/rc.conf file... hostname="jon.domain.here" network_interfaces="ep0 lo0" ifconfig_ep0="inet 208.165.194.5 netmask 255.255.255.0 208.165.194.1" then i added defaultrouter="208.165.194.1" So as you can see I have no idea what I'm doing and how to do it... any help would be appreciated.
