Dear FreeBSD, I just noticed that a couple of my 3.3 (or 3.4RC) systems are not recognizing any more than 8 characters of my passwords. A friend's system running 3.3 insists on all 9 characters of my password on his system. How did my system start dropping the characters after 8, and how can I get it to use up to 128? Did this happen when I installed (or tried to install) Samba? barnes@klentaq.com www.klentaq.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
