Ohhhh.. I missed my smart ass reply to this little tid bit:

(Thats about all I can remeber of the BIN loader...)

And I image a PDP-8 implement in modern ASIC technology could tear up
a 53C810, and could probably be built to clock at 1GHz without a lot
of effort, just a nice RF class BiCMOS process :-)
