I've recently bought another hard drive, which I plan to use to play around with FreeBSD 4.0 or Linux or HURD. I have an existing hard drive which is the primary master drive. My ATAPI CDROM is currently my secondary master drive. Because I need to be able to boot off of the new hard drive, does it have to be a master drive? How should I arrange them?
