Some more things I've noticed... If I do: # ./pccardc enabler 0 ed0 -m 2000 d4000 16 -a 300 -i 3 It says "device not configured", which leads me to think that I've missed something out in the kernel config. After playing around with pccardd etc. under 4.0, I find that the kernels (4.0 and 3.4) panic when they get to the part where they load the pccard support, unless I do a cold reboot.
