Once you know your > way around, then dive head first into FreeBSD. I've always found FreeBSD much easier and nicer than Linux, and I would recommend the original poster give it a try. I've tried a few distributions of Linux, and none of them seem as nice as FreeBSD. This is probably because I started with FreeBSD with no other Unix knowledge; the reason I don't like Linux is because I'm so used to FreeBSD I try things the FreeBSD way rather than learning the Linux way properly. The only Linux distribution I sort of like is Debian (though I can't help wondering where the hell 2.2 is). -- Ben Smithurst / ben@scientia.demon.co.uk / PGP: 0x99392F7D To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
