Alright, I am on my way to getting a PPP conection to the internet. I'm reading along and all of a suden it refers to using kermit (located in /usr/ports/comms/kermit). Well, I come back to windows because I can't get kermit to install. Reason? Because kermit is not licensed or something which makes it a file you must get from an ftp site. When I try to do something I do it by the handbook. What other programs comes in the ports collection that resemble kermit that I can use to complete this process? Any of those listed in the /usr/ports/comms folder? I'd appreciate any help from anyone. Thank you.
