> I still regret the replacement of "tar" with "gnu tar" Umm, Terry. There was never any replacement that went on, since there was no 'tar' sources that came with Net1/Net2 or 4.4Lite1/2. Gnu-tar was used because the BSD replacement (pax) was so buggy to be almost unusable, and no-one was interested in fixing it.
