	To get your parallel scanner to work, you are going to have
   to get the specifics on how the parallel interface works, and then
   write a driver that will talk to your parallel scanner correctly.

	Then you will have what you need to use your parallel scanner
   correctly. And, you will receive the gratitude of all of the folks
   who have a parallel scanner that are in the same boat as you.

	Sorry, but SANE doesn't support parallel scanners. Many SCSI
   scanners, some USB scanners, but no parallel scanners that I know
   of.
