Concerning package names and hypertext links _nothing_ has changed.
There also isn't a www.tcl82.org or whatever ...

Port and package names are
still build correctly by the two make variables:
	PORTNAME=       postgresql
	PORTVERSION=    7.0.2

references to the main "PostgreSQL" website are
still build correctly by the entry in DESCR:
	WWW: http://www.postgresql.org

So I assume that you only could mean, that we should simply
choose the name of a software if there are not multiple versions
in the CVS repository in parallel.

But here I disagree.

What if Postgresql team would decide to bring out patches for people
that want to stay with Postgresql version 6. This must not but might
happen.

Then it would be an advantage to simply grab the old stuff out
of the attic, to bring it back und make the update.

This would not be possible if I would merge the newest stuff into the
old postgresql port ...

What about that ?
