Not sure if this is on-topic, but what the heck: I've started playing a little more freely with my laptop. One result is comparatively frequent panics when doing things I know damn well are almost certain to fail, say, while playing with the Linuxulator or in mount_union. Are these panics & debugger dumps something people want to see, or is the general attitude "then don't *do* that!" ? If you folks want 'em, I'll send them. (I suppose the generalized form of this question is, "Are panics normal when the sysadmin is a behaving like a damned fool?" ;) Thanks, Michael -- Michael Lucas mwlucas@blackhelicopters.org http://www.blackhelicopters.org/~mwlucas/ Big Scary Daemons: http://www.oreillynet.com/pub/q/Big_Scary_Daemons To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-hackers" in the body of the message
