Hey folks, Have any of you successfully used AC'97 onboard audio with FreeBSD? I've tried to get my ISA SB16 to work with FreeBSD unsuccessfully back when I had a Pentium 100, I've recently built a system around the AMD Duron 700 and the mobo that I bought has AC'97 support which apparently emulates "legacy audio" like the SB16 . . . and I'd give my SB16 another go on the new system, but, alas, it has no ISA slots. BIOS reports "SoundBlaster emulation" at port 220H, IRQ 5, DMA 1 (I think.) Thanks, ------- E. L.
