I was running both of these programs as root. >How-To-Repeat: Just run cdrecord -scanbus on my machine. :) I've been told that cdrecord works on FreeBSD up to 5.0-current and that this problem only exists on my machine. The author of cdrecord thought that this may be a bug in cam.
