hi all I have been upgrading via cvsup since 3.2, and I will be performing my first clean install from CD since then. The whole concept of the NOTES file and the boot hints is new to me. What do I need to know about them to install, if anything? Also, I will be doing some work with the parallel zip driver. Do I need to know anything special about kernel building that has changed since then? I didn't know if any of this would affect kernel building if device driver code is changed.
