Hi, I run a 4.2-STABLE machine, world done this morning. I had some troubles with fdescfs. Reading the fdesc(5) manual page, I have to mount the fdescfs like I would mount procfs. But if I compile my kernel with options FDESC or if I load the fdesc.ko kernel module, I have access to /dev/fd/* and /dev/std* without mounting anything. Outdated documentation ? The real problem comes when I actually try to mount fdescfs. I was able to mount it several times on the same place (/dev) and 'mount' reported fdescfs as mounted several times. Just after this, my box locked up. I was able to switch to another virtual tty with alt+Fx but wasn't able to type anything nor to reboot with ctrl+alt+suppr.
