Can anyone think of a way, after reboot/fsck/etc, from userland, of detecting whether or not 'this' boot was the consequence of an uncontrolled reboot? I have a situation where a MySQL table usually needs repair via 'iasmchk' after such a reboot, and I only want to take the time for such a repair in that circumstance. I _suppose_ I could grovel for the /kernel: WARNING: / was not properly dismounted line out of /var/log/messages, but I would prefer something that wasn't sensitive to my syslog configuration... -- Brian 'you Bastard' Reichert <reichert@numachi.com> 37 Crystal Ave. #303 Daytime number: (603) 434-6842 Derry NH 03038-1713 USA Intel architecture: the left-hand path To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-isp" in the body of the message
