No ta, I built lots of them myself last night :-) Looks like we've reached a pdftex limit that can't be worked around. Two choices (I think). 1. Use something like ps2pdf to convert the Handbook to PDF. Nice, simple, and means that we lose all the hyperlinks in the PDF file, which I'd rather avoid if possible. 2. Split the Handbook up. I've been wanting to do this for a while anyway. The easiest way to do this would probably be to turn each <part> in to a book in its own right. The more complicated way would be to hive out certain chapters, "The FreeBSD Printing Book", "The FreeBSD Security Book", and so on. Thoughts, everyone? N -- Internet connection, $19.95 a month. Computer, $799.95. Modem, $149.95. Telephone line, $24.95 a month. Software, free. USENET transmission, hundreds if not thousands of dollars. Thinking before posting, priceless. Somethings in life you can't buy.
