While you're at this, would you mind looking at PR kern/21156, too? It's about scmouse mangling / damaging data in copy'n'paste operations and has a fix in it. It's just that yokota is too busy to apply the patch although he confirmed it to be a valid solution (at least for two of the three discussed items). The patch has been running here since early September on every machine I get my hands on (one rather quickly and most of all constandly notices the broken behaviour when coming from other platforms) and brings back expected behaviour for those of us to work on syscons terminals while facilitating the mouse clipboard. I'm aware it's too late for 4.3-R, but we could at least make the next release work correctly ... virtually yours 82D1 9B9C 01DC 4FB4 D7B4 61BE 3F49 4F77 72DE DA76 Gerhard Sittig true | mail -s "get gpg key" Gerhard.Sittig@gmx.net -- If you don't understand or are scared by any of the above ask your parents or an adult to help you.
