As a side note, what other programs are available for FreeBSD other than cdda2wav for ripping audio tracks from an ATAPI CD drive? Also, are there any firmware update programs for plextor drives that run on something other than Windows and can write to ATAPI drives? I've found a few but they only support SCSI drives. I'd hate to have to find a Linux machine to stick the drive in just to update the firmware.
