The patches are currently being reviewed for commit to current RSN.
I'll probably commit them today or tomarrow.  There's a slightly out of
date set of patches at:

http://people.freebsd.org/~brooks/patches/ifconfig-stable.diff

which applies the ifconfig changes as well as the patch to avoid panics
when the card firmware changes.
