I definitely disagree with that as a general statement (there is
nothing wrong with "displayed text" in the middle of a paragraph, and
mathematical equations are frequently displayed in the middle of a
paragraph; a paragraph is a grammatical entity not a formatting
one.)  But if that's how the docbook system expects it to be, ok...
