Actually, the reason is probably that Brian hasn't had the time to do
it.  There were a number of problems resulting from the initial import
which is another factor why it wasn't merged sooner.  Perhaps there
are still some unresolved issues (e.g. I'm not sure if Kerberos was
fixed properly yet)
