I am having trouble using my PCMCIA slots on my laptop with a PC Card modem I am trying to use. If I have the modem plugged in PCMCIA slot before booting up FreeBSD, the system will lock up during the boot process at "ppi0: <Parallel I/O on ppbus0". It will then sit there until I power down the laptop. If I plug the modem in after the system is booted, then the system will lock-up until I turn the power off. I am running FreeBSD 4.3 Release and the modem I am using is an Optima 56K PC Card. I am still pretty new with FreeBSD so any help is greatly appreciated. If any more info is needed let me know what and where I can find it. Rich __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
