The aic7880 printf is correct.

At this point, can you hit "Scoll Lock" and PgUP to see if there are
any additional messages output by the ahc driver?

You might also try one of the 4.4-RC floppies to see if a newer
kernel probes your devices better.

Full firmware information for the Baracudda would be good to know
too.

BTW, what aic7xxx driver version are you using under Mandrake?
