Hello, I am running Freebsd 4.3 (stable) with XFree86 4. I have used freebsd ports to install Vmware 2 on my machine. I am also running Windows98 on the same machine. I can dual boot to either Windows or freebsd. The problem is when I start vmware, it brings up the screen (not in full screen), with a an error message that says: Could not open /dev/vmnet0 : no such file or directory. Failed to configure ethernet 0 What does this mean? What can i do to fix it? Thanks, radhika ===== It's all a matter of perspective.
