People need to enumerate the list of problems they believe are still "show stoppers", preferably the people in charge of those subsystems so that I also know it's hard evidence being cited and not simply "I read something on the -stable list and it alarmed me." I'm all for releasing a rock-solid product too or 4.4-RELEASE would already be up for FTP access, but I can't delay it based on rumor and supposition, I need solid evidence that something is a show-stopper and I need some sort of ETA for a fix since otherwise we're just holding the release up indefinitely with no end in sight. Thanks. - Jordan > Just reviewed the -STABLE mailing list, and it sounds as if there are still > too many problems to make me confident about installing the release if it is > rushed.
