--VS++wcV0S1rZb1Fb Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: inline Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Hello, I'm running FreeBSD 4.4-STABLE on my HP Omnibook 500. It will still freeze solid whenever I inserted my Psion Gold Card modem or the Aironet 350 wireless card. FYI, the modem card used to work well under FreeBSD 4.3, Linux and OpenBSD 2.9. Here's my settings: # uname -a FreeBSD srikandi.spriggan.int 4.4-STABLE FreeBSD 4.4-STABLE #1: Wed Nov 14 = 23:23:47 SGT 2001 root@srikandi.spriggan.int:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/SRIKA= NDI i386 # pcic entries in /boot/loader.conf hw.pcic.intr_path=3D"1" hw.pcic.irq=3D"0" # pcic entries in dmesg pcic0: <TI PCI-1410 PCI-CardBus Bridge> at device 10.0 on pci0 pcic0: PCI Memory allocated: 0x44000000 pcic0: Polling mode pcic0: TI12XX PCI Config Reg: [ring enable][speaker enable][pwr save][FUNC = pci int + CSC serial isa irq] pccard0: <PC Card bus (classic)> on pcic0 # pccard entries in /etc/rc.conf pccard_enable=3D"YES" pccard_mem=3D"DEFAULT" pccardd_flags=3D"-z -i 10" pccard_beep=3D"2" pccard_conf=3D"/etc/defaults/pccard.conf" --=20 Najib Ninaba=20 "Life's unfair - but having the root password helps!" -- PGP fingerprint B338 7EC2 B737 3BAA 03B1 38C7 0832 B6CF 160F 496E -- To verify the signature, get my PGP public key at http://www.keyserver.net/en/ KeyID:0x160F496E --VS++wcV0S1rZb1Fb Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE78wbkCDK2zxYPSW4RAiLtAKCIPyg42TArZiQ2BkpCnEA1L8lrBQCfVI4o 367jOqhpWjXwZ21BFnQsddw= =SLVh -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --VS++wcV0S1rZb1Fb-- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-mobile" in the body of the message
