Actually, Chad's problem is apparently that he's cvsupping the cvs-all
collection, which I'd never heard of before, and which presumably
includes 1.7GB of extra stuff (could be the mail archives, you're
right).  This collection is probably intended for cvsup mirrors who
want to mirror absolutely everything on offer.

If Chad would refer to the example cvsupfiles in
/usr/share/examples/cvsup he would see the correct way to do it :-)
