--3siQDZowHQqNOShm Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: inline Hi there, I'm running this FreeBSD machine: roman@roman ~ > uname -a FreeBSD roman.mobil.cz 4.4-STABLE FreeBSD 4.4-STABLE #0: Tue Oct 9 15:41:28 CEST 2001 roman@roman.mobil.cz:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/CRUDPUPPY_1 i386 It's been happily chugging along until today (about noon). I left the office for lunch, leaving the box on, and when I came back ~1hr later, it was rebooted. None of the coworkers who were in the room during the time I was away noticed anything. I would love to know what caused the reboot -- the machine is connected to a UPS, and the thought of one of my colleagues being that dumb or malicious is just out of question. At least I hope so. Anyway, attached is today's /var/log/messages until the reboot. TIA for any help. -- FreeBSD 4.4-STABLE 4:54PM up 3:49, 8 users, load averages: 0.03, 0.06, 0.01 --3siQDZowHQqNOShm Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="var.log.messages.today" Dec 17 00:26:01 roman stunnel[9139]: SSL_read (SSL_ERROR_SYSCALL): Connection reset by peer (54) Dec 17 08:07:01 roman stunnel[9139]: SSL_read (SSL_ERROR_SYSCALL): Connection reset by peer (54) Dec 17 08:43:02 roman stunnel[9139]: SSL_read (SSL_ERROR_SYSCALL): Connection reset by peer (54) Dec 17 09:52:03 roman /kernel: nfs server tornado:/home/mp3: is alive again Dec 17 10:00:01 roman stunnel[9139]: SSL_read (SSL_ERROR_SYSCALL): Connection reset by peer (54) Dec 17 10:37:01 roman stunnel[9139]: SSL_read (SSL_ERROR_SYSCALL): Connection reset by peer (54) Dec 17 11:46:01 roman stunnel[9139]: SSL_read (SSL_ERROR_SYSCALL): Connection reset by peer (54) Dec 17 12:08:33 roman /kernel: ums0: at uhub0 port 2 (addr 2) disconnected Dec 17 12:08:33 roman /kernel: ums0: detached Dec 17 12:08:33 roman moused: unable to open /dev/ums0: Device not configured Dec 17 12:08:34 roman /kernel: ums0: KYE Systems Genius USB Wheel Mouse , rev 1.00/0.00, addr 2, iclass 3/1 Dec 17 12:08:34 roman /kernel: ums0: 3 buttons and Z dir.
