Hi to all , I have a friend who needs to setup a small home-office network . I answered most of his questions but wanted your opinion / experience /views . The hardware is a P166 with 32mb ram and plenty of disk space . the internet link is dsl . he will have three clients in the office and two laptops in field . here's the parts i'm not sure of : 1. will a p166 with 32 mb ram running freebsd will be strong enough to be a gateway ( i think yes but i wonder what your thaughts are ) . 2.assuming the laptop users have windows 2000 , can they use pptp to "vpn" to the office through the freebsd box ? thanks and happy new year to all , barazani To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
