I am considering getting a new system for a dedicated
game server
(Quake III and Counter Strike) which will run FreeBSD
on my local
network.

What will you guys recommend for hardware? I am
considering Intel
Pentium 4 system (with Intel 845 motherboard), but I
would like to hear
someone else experience running such config first.
Will P4 a good choice
for server platform? (24/7 operation)???

Thanks in advance,

Henry
