Some RAID controllers for ATA/IDE drives look like a single SCSI device to the system. I don't think that's true of my Promise onboard chip (a software rather than a hardware controller), because I have no SCSI support in the kernel but the array works fine. Don't think I need much more tuning anyhow - my last "make world" took a shade under 20 minutes. :) Jud -- _______________________________________________ Download the free Opera browser at http://www.opera.com/ Powered by Outblaze To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
