It has several problems (see various open PRs in the PR database), most of which have been fixed in the tcpdump.org CVS repository and presumably the version which is the basis for this port. I was prodding fenner towards importing something newer for the base system...haven't heard from him for awhile though. Personally, I think we should either update what's in the base system or yank it out and rely completely on a port.
