I thought you said you had a cable modem? You probably should've tried
another site, because you should get much faster response than that. It
didn't take me anywhere near that long.
Besides, all you really need is CD #1. Or, as a complete newbie, I
suggest splurging on the boxed set, which comes with a really good
book "The Complete FreeBSD", plus you support the Effort. But you
really need to read the Handbook, esp. the part about Pre-Installation
and Allocation Disk Space.
