I am using Freebsd 4.5 stable. And I am new in Freebsd, unix.My problem is I couldn't used xdm, that is I couldn' configure xdm.As in the handbook it says: % echo "#!/bin/sh" > ~/.xsession % echo "/usr/X11R6/bin/gnome-session" >> ~/.xsession % chmod +x ~/.xsession when I wrote % echo "#!/bin/sh" > ~/.xsession ( when there is no .xsession file in the /root) in the shell command line it says: /bin/sh: Event not found Am I doing something wrong. Thank you. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
