Except for one private reply (which was helpful but unfortenately didn't
work), I got no responses... Can I do anything to make this work (compiling
with debugging options, etc etc), or am I just screwed with this card &
-CURRENT?

FWIW, the card & laptop work fine with RedHat 7.3. When I had RedHat instal=
led
I also tried one other card, a 3Com 3C562D which also worked fine. Then
I tried to install -CURRENT using the 3Com, but sysinstall didn't recognize
the network part and then hung on the 'Probing devices...' prompt :(

I'm really out of ideas now...
