This seems to happen very often lately.... Quoting the handbook: ------------ C.1.2 How to Subscribe To subscribe to a list, send mail to <majordomo@FreeBSD.org> and include subscribe <listname> [<optional address>] in the body of your message. For example, to subscribe yourself to freebsd-announce, you would do: % mail majordomo@FreeBSD.org subscribe freebsd-announce ^D To actually post to a given list you simply send mail to <listname@FreeBSD.org>. It will then be redistributed to mailing list members world-wide. Please note that subscription requests go to <majordomo@FreeBSD.org>, not the lists themselves. ------------ So this should go to majordomo@freebsd.org, not the list itself... HTH -- Andreas "ant" Ntaflos ant@overclockers.at Vienna, AUSTRIA To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
