These lists already employ standard practice spam filtering methods. Sometimes
stuff still gets through, but that number is dwarfed by the number of spams it
successfully prevents. You fail to realize that there is no "authority" here.
The folks who maintain the lists are volunteers. Everyone is a volunteer. If
you would like to help, then by all means offer your services.

You have no idea what the "majority of what you're dealing with" is. There
literally a few ten thousands of subscribers to the list. Your broad
generalization of an attempted insult isn't cute or productive. I'm sure folks
would appreciate it if you kept it to a minimum so we can keep the noise down.
The lists don't get spam because somebody disagrees with you. The lists get spam
because spammers are still in business.

Perhaps it would be more efficient and productive if you went and whined at
the spammers and their ISPs instead of subjecting a few thousand people to
your incessant whining that a FREE resource maintained by Volunteers who are
not compensated in any material way for their efforts is not up to your
personal standards.

With particular respect,
