Hi all,
Background
==========
I have installed a FreeBSD-stable on a bootable CD-ROM using sysutils/cdroot.
A printer, Brother HL-1250, is attached to /dev/lpt0.
My /etc/printcap contains:
lp:\
:sh:\
:lp=/dev/lpt0:sd=/var/spool/lpd:lf=/var/log/lpd-errs:
The log-file /var/log/lpd-errs contains only a line with "lpd startup",
no errors.
/var/spool/lpd has owner daemon:daemon and mode 770
/var is mounted on a hard disk.
lpd is started from /etc/rc.conf
An now my problem
=================
When printing from a remote machine (FreeBSD + apsfilter, NT4 + Printer
Driver) the printer prints everything ok, but after each job an empty
page follows. So, it's not *THAT* problem, but I don't like it ;o)
Has anyone a solution or a hint for me? I have already checked the web
and the usenet, but found nothing helpful :(
Thanks, Olli
