aptitude? here is an explanation of why we do not have an ncurses
frontend to the debian package management system in the ports tree:

*freebsd is not debian*.
ponder this for awhile.
now. using this fantastic newfound knowledge, try to guess why the
DEbian FOnt MAnager isn't in the ports tree.
