Yes, I am more than happy to do that. In fact several people on the BSD
list seem to use ISP's that spammers love, they do not know their names,
but they live on my whitelist, even if the rest of the .whatever is
kicked.

I hate doing this, it is really against my principles, but some robot
spam program is just getting too irritating. So after many months I just
resorted to brute force.

If so many people didn't use free-mail like hotmail, lycos, yahoo etc.
I would reject all the mail emanating from those sources. Unforturtunately
many "legit" people do use them. Yahoo is particularly evil in this
respect (and they run FreeBSD I believe .. hey !).

Which brings me to an interesting question about privacy. I actually
signed up to Hotmail long ago, but never once used it. I just thought it
might come in handy someday. One day I came across a piece of paper
while tidying up, and on it I had scrawled my hotmail details some years
before. I logged into it and it was completely full and every single
message was spam...despite the fact I had never sent a message through
it and never told anyone to send me messages through it.

So ...
