Hi

My Netgear FA510 card is still not working. If I boot with the card
in a cardbus slot, I get the below:

Product version: 5.0
Product name: NETGEAR | FA510 | Fast Ethernet CardBus Card | 1.00 |
Manufacturer ID: 13958100
Functions: Network Adaptor, Multi-Functioned
Function Extension: 0102
Function Extension: 0280969800
Function Extension: 0200e1f505
Function Extension: 0301
CIS reading done
cardbus1: Resource not specified in CIS: id=14, size=400
dc0: <Intel 21143 10/100BaseTX> port 0x1000-0x107f mem 0x88002400-0x880027ff irq
 5 at device 0.0 on cardbus1
dc0: Ethernet address: 00:10:7a:15:ec:60
miibus0: <MII bus> on dc0
dcphy0: <Intel 21143 NWAY media interface> on miibus0
dcphy0: 10baseT, 10baseT-FDX, 100baseTX, 100baseTX-FDX, auto

The card/interface is pingable if I manually give it an IP, but it
never seet the wire ("no carrier"). There _are_ lights on on the
dongle, but nothing changes if I pull out the cable (except the
lights go out).

If I insert the card after boot, I get an identical (non-)result,
with the exception that the MAC address is ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff, and
if I remove/insert more than about three times, the machine will
hard-hang (only way out is reset).
