My just arrived X30 2672-5DU also has an AC'97 Modem Controller, as
far as I know this means I stick with the pcmcia modem I was using
before ...

Thanks to various older postings here I've got suspend to memory, USB
(after creating /dev/usb[1-2]), pcmcia, compact flash, ether, wireless
(IBM high rate wireless == intersil prism 2.5 and works fine. Thanks
Warner :), audio (although I havn't tracked down exactly what chipset
it is, kldload snd works and it keeps working after a suspend/resume
and sounds really good with headphones), X using the VESA driver, etc,
all work fine.

I'm still working on suspend to disk (I have a utility someone here
pointed at from ibm's web site to play with) and I have no ideas about
dock/undock from the media slice without rebooting. 'atacontrol detach
1' detaches the 2nd IDE controller in the dock but I can't undock or
eject the cdrom drive without it beeping lots and not letting me. Is
this going to work ? Hints ?

ppc complains;
   ppc0: cannot reserve I/O port range
Not seen that before.

Overall I'm liking this machine a _lot_.
