Hi, Thanks for the earlier advice; I installed 5.8.0 neatly next to my 5.5003 version. :) So, now I wonder, how do I tell a new package to install under 5.8.0, and not the old dirs? Would I be using, /usr/local/bin/perl Makefile.pl Instead of, /usr/bin/perl Makefile.pl ? Would that suffice? I really do not want to clobber my old installation, yet need to install many new packages in 5.8.0 as well.
