It's actually funny, but the people who receive the messages from new PR submissions ar already flooded with many things. Let us not increase their load by creating many PRs that they have to close. Cross-posting to -hackers is also a bit Evil(TM) since anyone who hits reply to the original post and forgets to remove freeBSD-gnats-submit from the list of recipients will generate a misfiled PR, which I will have to search for and close later. There are already quite a few misfiled PRs that we have to handle periodically. We don't need more.
