Is there some magical power that a
     printf("Be nice to eachother, mmmkay?\n");
has that i'm unaware of, or is this some sort of joke that I'm not
grasping?

It looks rather odd in startup messages...

Mounting root from ufs:/dev/ad1s1a
cd0 at ata0 bus 0 target 1 lun 0
cd0: <PLEXTOR CD-R   PX-W4012A 1.01> Removable CD-ROM SCSI-0 device
cd0: 33.000MB/s transfers
Be nice to each other, mmmkay?
