This is probably a more general question than just for FreeBSD, but since that's what I'm running and don't know about X fonts in general, I'll ask here. I'm running FreeBSD-4.8 on my computer. I recently upgraded Mozilla from 1.1 to 1.3, via the Ports collection, and all of the fonts are now oddly shaped at all sizes. Other applications seem unaffected, although I did try installing Phoenix from Ports and it has the same look--unbalanced shapes for the fonts. Any suggestions for where to begin looking for a fix? Thanks. Jesse Sheidlower
