--gBBFr7Ir9EOA20Yy Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-15 Content-Disposition: inline Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable ##################################################################### # # # ANNOUNCEMENT: mICQ 0.4.10.3 # # # ##################################################################### mICQ 0.4.10.3 is another bug fix and translation update release -- new is the Indonesian translation --, though it features a few minor improvements: it now supports sending and receiving of unicode encoded type-1 (unacknowledged) messages; it detects screensavers on Windows; it fixes trouble with temporary contacts; its .rpm now ships with the man pages; it fixes a segfault caused e.g. by file transfer request from Miranda sent through the server; the command parser interprets \x00 style hex bytes and integers in hex; and of course a bunch of minor fixes. Kudos are in order for the PLD Linux Distribution as they're the only Linux distribution with recent mICQ packages on rpmfind.net that get the copyright of mICQ right. Guess why mICQ now displays it pretty prominently. Mandrake, Red Hat and ASPLinux still consider mICQ to be freely available or BSD licence. Those distributions also might consider shipping the translated man pages of mICQ... No Kudos go to the Debian project who still ships a version of mICQ with a seriously annoying yet trivially to fix bug and a copyright notice disclaiming my part of the authorship of mICQ. Shame on you! Hint to FreeBSD: it _does_ support file transfer. Hint to NetBSD: you may want to update DESC and check whether=20 may want to use libiconv. You also missed CAN-2002-1362. Hint to OpenBSD: your DESC is more than outdated, as well as your package... md5sum a5bf29dde10474a10a5a4c3e43bf6915 source/micq-0.4.10.3.tgz md5sum b3137ec97f624a1989f0723d9b61d68f binary/micq_0.4.10.3-1.1_i386.deb md5sum 1ec65fe9cf6f11b4abde9c9616135dd3 binary/micq-0.4.10.3-1.i386.rpm md5sum 7d211aaeef369d878f554f3fffe78396 binary/micq-0.4.10.3-AmigaOS.tgz md5sum 0d8ce6b32fd973700b066a50ea9ba586 binary/micq-0.4.10.3-mingw.exe sha1sum 294dda4973cc66dd1d58b827f55cc885c9b2805b source/micq-0.4.10.3.tgz sha1sum be7484294c03fa0957d79c65060b705e828c9e1f binary/micq_0.4.10.3-1.1_= i386.deb sha1sum de38e7948c723b10115f672ebb17c91a5cfcc31d binary/micq-0.4.10.3-1.i3= 86.rpm sha1sum 78749595e73e260f5fd77b08baec914b7de35219 binary/micq-0.4.10.3-Amig= aOS.tgz sha1sum 913f549ad402d982d9c73cf395ff59735ec7a645 binary/micq-0.4.10.3-ming= w.exe >--[R=FCdiger Kuhlmann]--<micq-list-CKH1bDCG6x4V@ruediger-kuhlmann.de> >=20 > ##################################################################### > # # > # ANNOUNCEMENT: mICQ 0.4.10.2 # > # # > ##################################################################### >=20 > mICQ 0.4.10.2 is another bug fix and translation update release for mICQ > 0.4.10.x.
