--Boundary-02=_t/v6+7RPFyYK8iH Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Content-Description: signed data Content-Disposition: inline This new revision of the KDE metaport implements some suggestions that came= up=20 on the kde-freebsd mailing list after the recent changes to the metaport. I= t=20 features a dialog-based menu (well known from the ghostscript/php/postscrip= t=20 etc. ports), remembers previous selections and enables non-interactive=20 disabling of every optional KDE component via defining WITHOUT_<kdemodule>. This was posted first to kde@freebsd.org 10 days ago, but since there was=20 essentially no response, I'm reposting it there and to ports@freebsd.org=20 today. The menu is quite a first for a metaport, and it could potentially confuse= =20 users - the metaport cannot remove packages, yet the menu suggests it could= ,=20 for example. Please comment on this and tell if you'd prefer it over the metaport as it = is=20 now. To test it: =2D pkg_delete kde-3.1.2 =2D rm -r /usr/ports/x11/kde3 =2D fetch http://people.fruitsalad.org/lofi/kde.tar.gz =2D untar kde.tar.gz in /usr/ports/x11 =2D cd /usr/ports/x11/kde3 && make =2D-=20 Michael Nottebrock \ KDE on FreeBSD \ ,ww =20 \ --- \ ,wWWCybaWW_)=20 \ http://freebsd.kde.org \ `WSheepW' free \ II II node --Boundary-02=_t/v6+7RPFyYK8iH Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Description: signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.2 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQA+6v/tXhc68WspdLARAnEQAKCqTocf03lE2NymLfzFEfmmzhZPywCfTyG3 ul6PdRyAM1Z0b0M4LjhfA60= =gJzL -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --Boundary-02=_t/v6+7RPFyYK8iH--
