HI, I was wondering. I know STABLE is stack with gcc 2.9.5 when it comes to the base system. But what about installing gcc3.2 on it and rebuilding Gnome (or other ports)? Can it give me any benefits (speed etc.) or rather problems to solve? I know that c++ code compiled with 3.2 is incompatible to 2.9.5 compiled binaries. Thanks, --- Piero piero@poprostu.pl
